EasyTrans AS (Trade Mark) was founded back in 2008 as a spin off from Sørlandet Sykehus HF and Frode Haukeland. The company is based on the idea of securing medical equipment during patient-transport inside and outside hospitals with critical status or in need of monitoring. The company holds a patent of its ICU-platform wich is sold to most of the hospitals in Norway and Sweden.

EasyTrans ICU-platform is designed and constructed according to EN 1789, and can hold a weight of 15 kg(HD can hold 20 kg). 

The platform is Nato-coded, and used by Norwegian Armed forces.
